Wednesday, 20 May 2015: Page Personnel Singapore has today launched the “2015 Executive Assistant of the Year” competition. Now in its third year, the campaign coincides with a recent survey finding that most secretaries and executive assistants feel unappreciated at work. The survey, conducted by Page Personnel Singapore, of more than 600 executive assistants (EAs), personal assistants (PAs) and secretaries in Singapore has found that more than half of those feel unappreciated. When asked “Do you feel appreciated in your role?” 57% indicate that they do not.In light of the survey results, Page Personnel Singapore is looking to give the country’s best executive or personal assistants and secretaries the recognition they deserve. The most deserving will be named the 2015 EA of the Year. The winner will receive our biggest prize package yet, worth$10, 000, which includes return flights on KLM for two to a European destination of their choice.“This is a fantastic opportunity for the hard working executive assistants and secretaries of Singapore to be recognised,” says Antoine Lamy, Director of Page Personnel Singapore. “Every hard working EA or PA deserves to be recognised for their hard work, and the Page Personnel EA of the Year competition is a great way for their bosses to express their gratitude for all their hard work.”The prestigious award recognises the talented administrative professionals who work hard behind the scenes to drive success in their organisation. As well as return flights for two to Europe and four night’s accommodation, the winner will also receive a one year subscription to The Singapore Woman’s Weekly, a one year membership to the Singapore Association of Adminstrative Professionals. The runner up will receive an overnight stay at the luxury Naumi Hotel.“Our research found that the majority of EAs, PAs and secretaries working in Singapore do not feel appreciated in their company, which is a shame as they are often the driving forces behind a company’s success,” says Lamy. “The EA of the Year competition is the perfect opportunity for their hard work to be acknowledged.”“We’d like to thank all our sponsors, namely Cat & The Fiddle, Clariden Global, Hummings, KLM, Naumi Hotel, Singapore Association of Administrative Professionals, Swissbake and The Singapore Women’s Weekly for their wonderful contribution to our campaign,” adds Lamy. For details on how to enter or to nominate an outstanding EA, visit www.pagepersonnel.com.sg/EAoftheyearFor more information contact:Carolyn CheangMarketing Account ManagerPhone: +65 6416 9862Email: carolyncheang@michaelpage.com.sgAbout Page PersonnelPage Personnel is an established brand globally with 85offices in 10 countries.
