Before PageGroup, where were you before and what were your specialisations? 

 I was working in Singapore for seven years with an IT boutique recruitment company before joining PageGroup.

Why did you join PageGroup and what is your current role?

I was ready to take the next step in my career, and move onto my second job which would give me bigger and better exposure. I was looking for something which would help me broaden my horizons. I am currently an Associate Director for Page Personnel Contracting – Technology.

How has your past experience helped you in your current role?

I came to PageGroup with deep technology expertise coupled with a strong background and understanding of IT. My knowledge and skills translate into an advantage as I have a greater understanding of my clients’ needs. This past experience helped me hit the ground running, and I was able to map the market better with my market knowledge of the recruitment industry in Singapore.

Successes / achievements that you have accomplished during your time at PageGroup

I started off as a senior consultant, and was promoted to a Manager in 1.5 years of my journey with Page. I have been a top performer and been making it into most of our internal clubs that reward excellent performance such as Breakfast Club, Club Solitaire, Red letters and I’m on track for Platinum Club. I have been consistently increasing the revenue every quarter for the last 6 quarters.

How have you grown with PageGroup? 

PageGroup has helped me realise my dreams of becoming a successful professional along with building my brand name in the market. It has showed me that work can also be fun and doesn’t need to be monotonous.

What are the most rewarding parts of your job? 

Every small achievement is shared amongst colleagues in the wider office and it gives you a sense of belongingness. A lot of emphasis is put on celebrating successes and the company does take good care of its employees.

What advice would you give to someone who is looking to join the recruitment industry? 

If you are looking at getting into the corporate world of recruitment, PageGroup is a bigger and better brand name as we thrive a lot on meritocracy.
